Expert faculty and affiliates support our mission to achieve excellence in graduate bioethics education, research, and practice

We are proud to have a breadth of multidisciplinary faculty – each experts in their own field – that teach in our Master of Health Science in Bioethics, and/or supervise students in our Collaborative Specialization in Bioethics and JCB Scholars Program in AI Ethics and Health. Our faculty are at the heart of our aim to increase bioethics people capacity across health systems.

Academic home to the largest bioethicist network in Canada

We are also home to the Clinical, Organizational, and Research Ethics (CORE) Network. The CORE Network consists of bioethicists at various U of T partner healthcare institutions, and some of them are also faculty or supervisors in our graduate programs. They help us advance our aims in bioethics scholarship, policy development, and in tackling today’s wicked health problems.
